Can't WE all get along -exploiters and exploited ?

The political establishments of both the Democratic and Republican parties fear the survival instincts of the " mob ". But is not " democracy " inherently anti-elitist ? The popularity of Donald Trump among likely Republican voters and Bernie Sanders among likely Democratic voters- if still not quite overwhelming -is a sure sign of a crisis of the two party system.
The  establishment candidates are guided by " culture  war " issues : being on one side or  the  other of " political correctness ". But RACE, GENDER, and SEXUAL ORIENTATION  do not define every day real persons. ONLY Bernie Sanders is focusing on a systemic evil: unacceptable economic inequality.  Yet if Bernie is a true " socialist ", he rarely unequivocally condemns the capitalist system.
The last thing the American ruling class wants is an open public debate on merits of capitalism. The ruling class ideology elevates an historically evolved economic system to a law of nature-when it is not even a law of HUMAN nature.
A ruling class dimwit might praise a CLASS divided society as just another pleasing form of DIVERSITY. It is OK to exploit and oppress people -just don't dare look down on them. The " culture of poverty " is equal to the " culture " of the ONE PERCENT. The " way of life " of homeless people is in no way inferior to the way of life of our East Side liberals.
Rich and poor, exploiters and exploited, WE can all just get along. If not ,one small part of this WE  controls  the prison system  .Very few  judges, the honorable YOUR HONORS, question the wisdom of the system.
