A formula for endless war in the Middle East ?


    The U.S. declared " war on terrorism " 15 years ago. It was an ill conceived war from the beginning. Naturally, the American people craved an explanation for these incorrigible terrorists. And all we got was typical war-time propaganda.

    THEY just hate us ? Why ? What did WE ever do to THEM ? Well THEY hate us for our virtues. They hate our freedom and our democracy and our American Way of Life.

   The anti-war movement -with long experience of sanctimonious U.S. wars -told peace loving Americans that U.S. imperialism was no small factor in creating terrorists. Did the invasion and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan succeed in terrifying the terrorists ?

    All those drone strikes -with " collateral damage " - did not multiply terrorists ? The bombing of a Doctors Without Borders trauma hospital in Afghanistan - a " war crime " said a UN observer- did not multiply terrorists ?

   The Donald Trump " hate Islam " rhetoric does not multiply terrorists ?
The state terror of the New Colonialism is multiplying Islamic terrorists. They have a different slant on our " goodness ".

   I heard on the radio yesterday that Obama has placed thousands of U.S troops back in war ruined Iraq.

     A formula for ENDLESS WAR ? Just what the U.S. war machine wants.
