For decades now the neo-Democrats have been out of touch with
situation of working class Americans. Before they lost their 60s
idealism the Clintons championed the REAL THING national health care
plan.Now we hear from them a conservative toned WARNING that any viable
national health care plan must be acceptable to the generic TAX PAYER- a
code term for the ONE PERCENT ruling class.
And yet " socialist " Bernie Sanders is hardly more radical than any New Deal Democrat. President Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton make Franklin D. Roosevelt look like a flaming Bolshevik.
Chelsea Clinton is just one more example of how being a child of privilege tends to make you vacuous and clueless about social reality. One exception, of course, was Eleanor Roosevelt and her " aristocrat " husband FDR- " that man " to the entrenched plutocracy.
