U.S. war on terrorism - a seemingly endless war on everybody everywhere

It struck me as ominous way back in 2001: the Bush declaration of a " war on terrorism ". Did it mean that any oppressed person anywhere in the world -with a grudge against imperialist America-should look up frequently for that fatal drone bomber ? A seemingly ENDLESS war- a war on nearly everybody everywhere . The " terrorists " were always cartoon characters-no need even to understand them. So unlike virtuous America THEY believed in indiscriminate violence. Then I recalled Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, and Vietnam. And just months ago the bombing of the Doctors Without Borders trauma hospital in Afghanistan - a true war crime, said some United Nations observers.
THINKING is subversive !
