Looking for outside enemies- a fascist practice Democratic Socialists were saying for more than a 100 years that human
civilization must rise above the prison-even the mental prison- of the
nation state. Among establishment politicians -on the Left and on the
Right- one ” problem ” rarely mentioned is the capitalist system itself.
You can put it in very non-inflammatory, undramatic words: There is
just an unacceptable degree of INEQUALITY -in all its forms- in a world
which FINALLY has the means to abolish it.
In America the ruling class is prepared to offer us an absurd
contest between pro-war, pro-capitalist Hillary Clinton and pro-war,
pro-capitalist Donald Trump.
The capitalist news media wants to marginalize even mild mannered
Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont-an odd duck ” socialist ” Democrat.
