U.S. losing the stupid war on terrorism

  When French president ,Francois Hollande- a disgrace to honorable socialists in France and in every other civilized nation-says " We are going to wage a war that will be pitiless " he is simply being the voice of the Old European imperialism. No surprise that victims of French colonialist " virtues " ( like " compassion " ? ) reacted ferociously. The whole non-colonialist world cheered at the French defeat at Dien Bien Phu in 1954 . This world- and many socialist internationalists - cheered when Saigon fell to communists in 1975. Today it looks like heroic Vietnam fell to the Vietnamese.
Nothing changes if nothing changes. The phony war on terrorism will go on forever until the imperialist lions cut off their claws. But the " elephant " masses can also bring down the lions.
The American working class - the class that does the fighting and the dying for the ONE PERCENT plutocracy- is showing zero support for any new military adventures in the Middle East.
While the old colonial bullies are bombing Syria around the clock, demagogue politicians are saying : " No more Syrian refugees ".
Just weeks ago the United Nations condemned the U.S. bombing of the Doctors Without Borders trauma hospital in Afghanistan. FRENCH doctors called it a " war crime " , " barbaric ". Yes, rather PITILESS indeed.
Those bells at Notre Dame Cathedral will not toll for thousands of faceless Islamic " collateral damage ".
Our war on terrorism is  both a complete failure and a moral catastrophe. We are losing yet another stupid war .
