It should be clear to every uncorrupted soul in America that our military has no moral authority to lead any " war on terrorism " anywhere on the planet. I found it rather amusing that our most ridiculed Rhode Island ex-governor, Lincoln Chafee , in the last GREAT DEBATE, seemed to have a much bolder position against U.S. imperialist wars than that " socialist " Democrat celebrity, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
I read with appreciation your recent article on the decline of the anti-war movement in America. Could this be the real motive behind the vitriolic suggestion that the hapless-rather well meaning- PLUTOCRAT- Lincoln Chafee get lost and withdraw from the presidential race ? The ruling class resents a clear, unambiguous anti-war position- even if voiced by a buffoonish character.
As for Bernie Sanders, what kind of " socialist " ignores bloody war and begs the rich to be a little more generous to the wretched of the earth, not to be so -darn-greedy ? No CLASS STRUGGLE here.
Did Bernie ever read the famous Canton Speech of his hero, Eugene V. Debs ? I am sure Catholic Jeb Bush has Saint Francis for HIS hero !
