Bertrand Russell: Nothing is feared as much as free thought

Just WHO connected to that Ivy League student newspaper, the Brown Daily Herald , arrogated to themselves the right to censor- based not on screening out gross vulgarity and libel prone stuff- but screening out thoughtful -if offensive to some- OPINION ?
Let these kids think for themselves. There is always the COMMENT section check on pure daffiness.
British philosopher Bertrand Russell was right when he wrote many years ago how nothing is feared as much as FREE THOUGHT.
" Make people think and they will hate you ", the Nobel Prize winning philosopher said .
Back in the rebellious 60s even American Nazi Party leader George Lincoln Rockwell was invited to speak at Brown. There were objections -but they did not prevail over the free speech IDEAL of America
