Being homeless is not good for your sanity-or your police record

" Many of the participants said, because of insufficient mental health resources in the state, the criminal justice system — from officers on the beat to the courts and the Adult Correctional Institutions — are often forced to arrest and process people who need treatment more than jail."
Governor Gina Raimondo is getting Orwellian praise for helping the most helpless Rhode Islanders by Greek-conian budget cuts.
Our prison system and our mental health system are a disgrace .
Once again I am trying to help an old friend -again living in his car. Can he take a shower at my place tonight ? He too could use some mental health therapy. Being homeless is not good for your sanity-or your police record.
