I recall attending a similar " Julius Caesar " play at Trinity years
ago with a modern twist. The play I most enjoyed there was " Ethan
Fromm " . Neither drama is improved in the slightest with an updated
version. I could not stomach a minute of a Harpy Hillary character playing
Julius Caesar. The role demands " gravitas " whereas political
correctness is invariably ludicrous.
What kind of pseudo-liberal feminist directors continue to search for the nth dimension of Women's Liberation ? How about a feminized Hitler ? What is the point ?
