Neil de Grasse Tyson : would God forgive a wise guy atheist ?

While good Pope Francis is in town ( Washington, D.C ) let me mildly rebuke Neil de Grasse Tyson for mocking the ancient Catholic ritual of the Holy Eucharist last year. In the hateful tone of the New Atheism Tyson said that Catholics were even dumber than scientologists for believing that mere BREAD & WINE were the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Tyson is also an expert on metaphysics as well as astrophysics.
Oddly enough, Albert Einstein respected the Catholic doctrine of the Holy Eucharist. A biographer claims he was even fascinated by it. Einstein believed in Spinoza's deist God.
Isaac Asimov thought that God might forgive him for not believing in HIM . But would he forgive a wise guy atheist ? Isaac wondered.
