Armed Goons will not make Providence safer for residents ( another dumb RIPTA ad )

There is something increasingly degenerate about RIPTA. The bus ads suggest that armed thug security guards have the RIGHT STUFF for law & order in the inner city Providence neighborhoods. They will protect business and private property -not make the neighborhood safer for law abiding residents.
I heard that there is a heavy ex-cop presence in RIPTA now. Their drivers are forced to become more robot- like and authoritarian.
How can Scott Avedisian not take responsibility for RIPTA recklessness ? Poor Boobie Moore -crushed under a Broad St. RIPTA bus last May -was clearly a case of vehicular homicide.
This latest RIPTA ad is about as socially sensitive as that one about THE PERSECUTED GODLESS amongst us last year.
Somebody was pleased that Mayor Elorza would be our first " openly atheist " mayor of Providence. God bless Providence !
