A government led by an honest socialist ( Bernie Sanders ? ) would not
permit " eccentric millionaires " to play games with people's day dreams
and hopes for the " good life " for themselves. A hidden treasure of
gold ? Representing the hard work of HIS lifetime, the eccentric
millionaire ? Wealth was no mystery in the ancient world: if you could
own many slaves, you could fabulously multiply your wealth. An ancient
writer wrote about the appalling human misery in gold mines -the
foundation of the empire.
Today the ONE PERCENT capitalist plutocracy has just as much contempt for working class people as the old Greek and Roman slave masters had for their slaves.
For more than 100 years American socialists have been saying we have no real need for an exploiting ruling class - a class that has been given the absurd legal right to OWN the very means of life.
The maligned Native Americans thought that only the Great Spirit could " own " the world, the land , and the valuable ores and minerals in the ground.
Socialists will just take back the earth from the exploiters. Now are not they a little ECCENTRIC too ?
