A doctor bill for END OF LIFE advice ?

End of life advice fee $$$ ?
This sounds pretty shabby to me. I can't imagine my old family doctor -who still made house visits in the 60s and 70s-sending any patient a bill for END OF LIFE advice. Even today a good doctor should be part scientist and part humanitarian. No American doctor should be permitted to reject a Medicare or a Medicaid patient.
Our family doctor was a traditional Catholic. He most certainly was dedicated to the RIGHT TO LIFE-in the broadest sense. What I see in the eyes of most physicians today is dollar signs and baseless conceit. They will send Medicare a bill for a farce of an office examination- a five minute " check up " ( in a crowded office ) My sister observed that our brother's doctor never even checked his blood pressure the week before he died of a heart attack. If my brother had lived his only end of life request would have been -for a priest. How much should the good doctor charge for that ?
How about a fee for a beginning of life request- to be born loved ?
