Rabbi on church killing What struck me most about the mass murder of nine black people during
a CHURCH service was its pagan character. I can't believe there is a
spark of even a deranged CHRISTIAN in Dylann Storm Roof.There is not a
hint of religious perspective, not a single reference to God ( did I
miss something ? ) in Roof's sick but lucid manifesto. Also, I can't
believe a mentally disturbed, drug crazed high school drop out wrote
that racist manifesto. A Jewish rabbi wrote about " atheism " in
practice here. And I agree.
Did not the Russian novelist
Dostoevsky in " The Possessed " have a character think: " If God does
not exist, then everything is permitted ". Yes, even killing faithful
Christians at a church service in the Old South.
This kid was a patsy for an anti-religious political group.
( I do not associate atheist humanism with evil- on the contrary. But the New Atheism is decidedly nasty )
