Are
local radio and TV celebrities under pressure to " pimp " the state
lottery ? Most of them go way beyond announcing WINNERS in a
dignified,professional manner.One of these natural born narcissists "
identifies " with a local winner by saying: " Praise the Lord. Oh, what a
friend we have in Jesus ! ".
With equal logic they could
associate Jesus with lucky Horoscope readers in the newspaper.What
buffoons.There are no lucky numbers, no lucky liquor stores.Blind Chance
plays no small role in this otherwise orderly universe.
The same radio station that gives us Lotto-Mania gave us The
Astrologer-now deceased. The only SIGN that should matter to " public "
Catholics is the sign of the cross. $$$ is not God. Superstition is
not faith
