I lived in Warwick for a few years with my brother Ray who was
employed by the Warwick Police Dept. for 20 years as their chief radio
technician. Lincoln Chafee was mayor when Ray requested to redesign the
monitor arrangement of their Warwick jail cells . It was his suicide
prevention idea. Ray showed me the mayor's letter of approval. But sadly
Ray too cracked up. My sister visited the Warwick Police Station to
forewarn the police about Ray possibly causing a public disturbance.We
already knew about tragedies when mentally ill people encounter cops-who
don't know about the nature of the " threat ".
I suspect the good people of Warwick were not impressed with the handling of this strange young man who still lived with his mother. Is Nicholas Rovinski a real terrorist cartoon threat or just another disturbed young man -who " fell through the cracks " of our terrible mental health system ?
Was the FBI just bullying and taunting and manipulating a poor unwell soul.
