Fwd: Intellectual dishonesty on gay marriage

"There are a lot of implications to marriage equality that
affect the daily lives of everyone, even just traveling," Richards said.
I do believe in the absolute necessity of the separation of church and state. I fail to see why the Catholic Church should be so disturbed by state recognized gay marriage. Oddly enough, the old Baltimore Catechism makes it clear the Church does not recognize ( as holy ) state marriage for ANYBODY.
But there was a lot of intellectual dishonesty in the " liberal " -more accurately LIBERTARIAN- campaign for gay marriage. Perhaps some reader might agree with me here.Does the hateful New Atheism help here ?
