Bread and Wine

Haunting Hymn

Neil deGrasse Tyson Bashes Media for Giving Voice to 'Climate Deniers,' Laments 'End of Informed Democracy'

Ron Ruggieri

Neil is right to think like a scientist about Global Warming. Wrong to talk like a Wise Guy New Atheist. Wrong to mock the Catholic doctrine of the Holy Eucharist, saying that Catholics must be dumber than Scientologists to believe that nonsense.
The Pope said just weeks ago that the Church had no quarrel with Science, not with the Big Bang, not with Evolution.
But I think myself that the God Particle is a shabby substitute for God.Einstein never stopped wondering about the Old Wise One, about the Mind of God.This he did with a glass of fine red wine and a loaf of Italian bread at a picnic bench. Not at a science lecture.
