The New Atheism makes the same mistake of the " official atheism ' of the old Soviet Union in not understanding the religious instincts of humanity. The ruling capitalist class rightly considers THOUGHT dangerous in the masses. So better that they be bamboozled into disputes about the existence or non existence of God than incited to THINK about the rationality and moral sanity of the capitalist SYSTEM.
