Inference: Bush is J.C.'s favorite politician ?

No, I am not fan of his ,  but George W. Bush has as

    much right to babble about his religious enthusiasms as our

    very Jewish Jew  candidate for Vice President , Joseph I.

    Lieberman.

           Despite the PC tyranny , even politicians -my favorite

    hypocrites -have a right to a Tell Tale Heart,  a right

    to show us their beautiful and pious souls.

            But just because George W  says that Jesus Christ is

    his favorite political philosopher , we must not infer that

    that HE , George W  , is Christ's favorite politician.

             I gasp to read that the Anti-Defamation League

    is furious with Lieberman. Naturally he was ENCOURAGED to

    talk about his faith by the perfidious news media : How

    marvelous that a JEW can selected as Vice President in

    a modern, progressive democracy !

             It seems to me that separation of Church and

    State does not demand cold silence on this important

    matter of God - but just respect for FREEDOM , for

    the idea of not establishing a state religion , for

    respecting the conscience of the individual.


           Why is God just an embarrassment - even to

    most believers ?

Ban smoking at bus stops

A non-smoker waiting for a bus - sometimes as long as

    one-half hour -  must share " personal space " with cigarette

    addicts.  It can be especially TOXIC in a bus shelter on a rainy

    day  . Consider the case of frail and elderly heart attack victims

    or anybody with a lung condition or pregnant women ( here the addicts

    are even poisoning the FUTURE ! ).

               Sometimes I think smoking itself is a character disorder.

    Just an hour ago on the Reservoir Ave. bus  the bus driver suddenly

    asked me , the only passenger : " Mind if I smoke ?  "

              Not being a complete hard ass on this issue, I said

    to him : " If you got to smoke, you got to smoke ". But

    I thought he was undermining his own authority by breaking the

    visible NO SMOKING rule.

                Of course the Reservoir Ave. bus - with its routine

    stops at the state prison , mental institution, homeless shelter -

    can stress out a saintly bus driver.

           Leaving the bus, I told him my brother Mike is a bus driver

    and had his route a while back.

              "  Mike who ? "  he asked . I said  Mike Ruggieri.

          " Oh yea the DEAF  GUY ! "   My brother wears  two

    hearing aids but I prefer to think of him as " THE GUY WITH THREE

    LITTLE GIRLS TO SUPPORT . "

            Smokers are such INSENSITIVE SLOBS - except for all my

    friends and relatives and co-workers who just have a bad habit

    and demand my sympathy.

                BAN SMOKING AT BUS STOPS !

Help fascism by voting for Ralph ?

Being Bill Clinton's age, I have heard it all before. In

    the 60s it was New-Left dogma : there is NO difference between

    the CAPITALIST parties. Therefore vote for Gus Hall ( CPUSA) or

    Peter Camejo ( SWP - remember him ? ) .

            My common sense told me way back then: there is INDEED a

    a difference between an FDR and a " silent Cal ".

          There is indeed a difference between a New Deal and a dirty

    deal.

           But now I hear THIS nonsense from the very same LEFTISTS:

     " Ralph Nader is playing a dangerous game. He might help to

    elect  George W !" Yes, yes , and perhaps he is even an agent

    of the Republican National Committee.

             Clearly a vote for Nader is OBJECTIVELY a vote

    for FASCISM  !

          Really ? Anybody for true DEMOCRACY here ? Can't a

    principled man like Ralph Nader run for president, stand up

    for what he believes, without being put on guilt trip ?

              To be sure, " compassionate conservative " George

    W Bush is NOT the anti -Christ.  And Al Gore is NOT FDR.

             A strong showing for Nader in the November election

    will strengthen the " progressive " forces in the nation.

            Democrats vs. Republicans must not be the only

    game that matters.

            Oddly enough old Gus Hall - American Communist - clearly

    supports Al Gore -Democrat.

            Gus knows all about fascists !

Needed- SOMEBODY to spit on

On the bus this morning I observed a young black male

    wearing head phones - perhaps a URI student - taunting

    from the safety of the back seat of Bus 66 a young

    " Aryan " looking derelict on the sidewalk. The sullen blonde

    kid had moments earlier asked me for a cigarette or change

    - " for the homeless ". I don't smoke , I told him , and

    " I have to go to the bank ".

            I wondered about the  real background of the kid who

    reminded me a little of a troubled nephew who visited

    Germany recently with visions of heroic Nazis dancing in

    his head. And a race war Apocalypse.

           The black " scholar " ( ? ) teased him from the

    open window : " Get a job... get a job ! "

          For me this was all a little amusing. I said to

    the black youth : " Well when your THAT poor , you should

    at least give up cigarettes . " But I also thought :

    " Do we all need SOMEBODY to look down on ? "

           Is contempt for certain others mentally healthy - a

    sort of psychological safety valve ?

           I think not. The black youth said that the kid

    could at least work at McDonald's . But it is good

    to trust the people who make your hamburgers !


             On the bus I read a 1950s science fiction story

    about an alien  alone in a flying saucer who finds

    only loneliness in the immensity of space. But the

    FBI cannot even guess his " secret " .

    of Affluence which can only be compared to  1st Century

    AD , the time of the Pax Romana  (  the happiest time in

    the mad pursuit of riches in the Happy Time .

          Asks Seneca : What is the proper limit to

    wealth ? Answer : " It is first to have what is

    necessary ,and , second , to have what is enough. "

          For Wall Street brokers there is just no such

    thing as ENOUGH .

          And they too - along with Nero - would have suggested

    that the wise Seneca silence himself forever.

Rotten kid curse , Bob

 Good morning, Bob. Throwing eggs at a man's business

    property should be punishable vandalism. Imagine the owners

    being ruined for upholding the law : no cigarette sales to

    minors.

           There is a rotten kid epidemic , Bob - and not just

    on Narragansett Parkway in Warwick.

            I guess nobody ever said NO to the punks. I hope

    I was never  ROTTEN KID myself . But I do remember this one

    particular curse - from mother to son :

         " When you grow up, I hope  YOU have a kid just as

    rotten as you are ! "

             Fearing the worse, I never had any kids.

Camilo Viveiros -political prisoner ?

An editorial in the Providence Phoenix this week says that

    a local activist, Camilo Viveiros , A Providence resident, has

    been detained in a Philadelphia jail since August 1 . Camilo,

    says the editorial, may need  medical attention as well

    as $44,000 for bail.

          I don't know anything about Camilo's brand of politics.

    If he was part of a group determined to " disrupt " a national

    political convention - to send the country some New Left

    message - he was being stupid, undemocratic, and immature.



            But right now he needs HELP and not a sermon.


       Perhaps the Projo might be interested in his case , if not

    his message.

Cruz- too stupid to execute ?

A clearly retarded man, David Cruz , was executed in Texas

    last night.  I  won't vilify George W here . I know too

    many so called LIBERALS support the death penalty. Despite

    the PC crap, true liberalism is in decline.

             I'm beginning to think that our society - so advanced

    and fortunate in many ways - just does not understand the nature

    of mental illness  - insanity, retardation, perversion , criminal

    psychopathy , etc .

            The  BRAIN is organ just like the heart or the liver.

    It can malfunction. In the future - with the new gene map

    technology - we might be able to locate - and  CORRECT -

    the defective genes that nearly predetermine a life of

    crime.

             Or perhaps it will be cheaper to  execute the

    CRIMINAL while still in the fetal stage . Like

    David Cruz , it will never even have to say  "  Sorry ! "

          We need not apologize for executing David , IQ

Patrick K his own nemesis ?

Republicans are not my cup of tea - except perhaps

    here in Rhode Island. We desperately need INDEPENDENT Republicans.

        So I was pleased to read about the 40 year old boiler

    operator , Steve Cabral, who has a  goofy but spunky PLAN

    to  defeat Patrick Kennedy in the coming election. He is

    CHEAP and a NOBODY and that should suffice to get this

    " compassionate conservative " elected to Congress.

              A humble  man with grandiose ambitions  must be

    sort of a calamity to his  wife and college age kids. But

    his job gives him plenty of time to THINK , to formulate

    THE PLAN :

           I believe that Patrick will prove to be his very own

    nemesis.  A magazine article predicted that if the Democrats

    won't look you in the eye . It's like you're not

    really there in the room with him. "

          " One eye is cocky " , he says. Any mention of

    MONEY perks him up , he observed.

                Patrick Kennedy's nemesis is himself, I

    concluded. But hardly anybody will tell the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE

    the ugly truth about themselves.

           Good luck to Steve Cabral . But keep those boilers
