There are many social ills that cannot be cured within the framework of this irrational capitalist system. Among them: school shootings and homelessness. Gun control fanatics want the fascist state to have ALL the weapons. The " liberal " solution to homelessness in the USA makes taboo any attack on landlord private property rights, avoids even tough talk of rent control.
Also , how many disturbed kids " fall through the cracks " of the mental health system ? There are so many more " cracks " 50 years after the de-institutionalization of the mentally ill -which still leaves so many lost souls literally and poetically " in the cold ".
This is a very sick society ! In no way do we have any mission to straighten out the rest of the world . Cancel World War III and spend the money on saner social purposes .
